MMS takes part in various football tournaments held every year. Two tournaments are infact organized by MMS it self.

1. "S.C.Joshi Memorial 6-a-Side Football Tournament" as a tribute to one of the directors of the school.

2. V.P.Khanna Memmorial Junior football tournament as a tribute to one of the directors of MMS.

3. APA Memorial Tournament held as a joint effort of Mussoorie Modern School and Manav Bharti International School in memory of Amarpreet Singh and Prashant Lakhera of MMs and Abrar Ali of MBIS, who died in a tragic Accident.

4. Jackie Memorial Football Tournament held annually at St. George's college.

5. Shaheed Balbir Singh Memorial football tournament in tribute to ex-student of MMS died in in infamous firing in Mussoorie on 2nd Sepetmber 1994.
