In case of new pupils Transfer Certificates from the last school attended must be submitted by 15th July of the year in which the child has been admitted. Transfer certificates from schools outside Uttarakhand must be countersigned by the Education Authority of the State concerned. For children joining school for the first time a certified copy of the birth certificate is required. |

All correspondence to and from the students is controlled by the principal. Boarders are required to write to their parents once a week. |

Letters should be addressed to "The Principal" and not to the principal by name. Letters concerning students must not be addressed to any member of the staff. |

Visitors are not permitted to see the pupils without the express leave of parents and the permission of the Principal. Pupils are not allowed to go out of the school premises without the Principal's permission. |

| 5. |
Parents/Visitors will not be permitted to meet children during class hours. |
| |
| 6. |
Boarders are strictly forbidden to lend articles of clothing to one another. |
| |
| 7. |
Any pupil whose application, progress or conduct is unsatisfactory may be dismissed at the discretion of the Principal and sent home with or without escort at the expense of the parents. |

As Modern School aims at a total sense of equality among students it does not allow the children to bring tuck from home, expensive watches, musical gadgets, jewellery etc. The school will not be responsible for loss of such articles. Children are not allowed to keep cash. Students are not permitted to keep mobile telephones with them. |

Interviews with the Principal should be arranged by letter or on telephone. |

While every precaution is taken to ensure safety of the children the school will not be liable for any injuries on account of accident in which children may be involved at any time playing or taking part in sports,
traveling, hiking, excursion or any other activity. All expenses that may be incurred for medical aid will be borne by the parents. |

Visiting Day:
a) Parent/Authorised Visitors may visit their children and take them out from 12.45 p.m. on the second Saturday of every month to Sunday 5.30 p.m.
Parents/Guardians etc are NOT permitted to visit their children on any other day.
Parents will save embarrassment to the principal and to themselves by not making a request to visit their children on any other day.
b) PARENTS/GUARDIANS etc. MUST FIRST MEET THE SECRETARY TO THE PRINCIPAL WHEN THEY VISIT THE SCHOOL. |

Excursions: Parents will be informed and asked to pay in advance. |
